O Captain! My Captain,
Hath thy world already ended.
That Carpe Diem seize the day,
no longer stands awaiting.
Are you human enough,
To do something for the greater good?
Or narcissistic just like those politicians, businessmen and all other humans in power.
That ruin the already endangered world.
Would you rather indulge in an ignorant bliss,
while the greed conquers the corrupt,
and corrupt seizes every mind, every vote, every policy, every path?
And as you watch every scene unfold,
do you choose to be the apathetic audience,
who lets the corrupt oppress?
Or the empathetic human,
who questions the oppressor's intent?
So..Should we truly entrust these ‘people in power’ with the liberty of control?
Or does the youth that is capable of the greater good,
deserve it instead?
In this nation that is run by democracy and the freedom of speech,
Would your choice truly matter?
Or would you have to make it matter?
