If you could capture every original?

Would it be my own anymore?

If you could paint a picture within 7 seconds,

while mine would take hours,

Would they still call on to me?

And when you write like Shakespeare and Dickinson,

I watch my own art, drowning in a black hole of obliviousness.

And then I think,

Would my own art ever be recognized?

If you could create movies?

Would the art of creating movies be lost?

Over time, as people use you more and more,

Would art for art's sake be lost?

In this and the centuries to come,

perhaps you write the next chapter,

Or another book,

Perhaps you bring the next of what is evolution and design,

Of art and being,

But do the readers really need another chapter?Must there be another book?

Have artists and the art really asked,

for a narrative that steals from another,

uses the voice of another?

And would you, dear reader, help it steal the soul of art, poetry and life for the satisfaction of 7 seconds?

Or would you leave the art's soul to its rightful owner?

Description:

How would you, dear readers, feel if your own art is used by Artificial Intelligence?

If you and AI were prompted to create a painting, whose painting would you choose, one that is created within 7 seconds or one that took hours of effort and creativity to paint? Would you as a poet use AI to write poetry? The very essence of life? Or would you want to give it meaning by writing it on your own?

And finally dear reader, would you let AI change the narrative of art, or would you preserve its originality, its essence and its thought

Great Poem. What I found interesting is that the poem has powerful questions which effectively explore the anxiety that artists feel about their work being devalued or overshadowed by the speed and efficiency of AI and great perspective this poem ends with. Will the readers consider the soul of art and the importance of a human artist's unique voice over AI-generated content in 7 seconds..

An invoking narrative for the authenticity of human endeavours and creation. Ai has become an essential part of our lives but it’s unequivocally closing lots of doors also. We are Gods made , now lets see how Ai which is human made changes humanity … nice write up girl.
