My dad brought from work a printed sheet,
XLR8, Diamond Head, Four Arms and Stinkfly,
The time used to fly by.
As I coloured in, they started to transform as I vibed to the beat.
Let’s go back in time and have a look-see,
Time to jog back your memory
By Summer, it was time to binge
Excited you pick up the call,
It's time for some basketball.
Hitting sixes in our apartment pitches.
Marco Polo and water polo and sword fights
Some activities from day till night.
Mariokart, Nintendo land and COD
Cops and robbers, poggers
Did you feel the cringe?
Don’t forget, keep being wanted, owned and pwned.
Nigahiga, Annoying Orange, Smosh and Fred,
For this poem, comes back from the dead.
Beyblade, Nerf and fidget spinners
Pogo, Cartoon network, animax, Jettix
and some other winners.
This was our childhood before Amazon Prime and Netflix.
Downstairs in disguises,
Suddenly, a threat arises.
Someone shouts and points, whole new surprises
And we’re off to deal with another crisis,
Off to save the world.
